Obsessive Confection Disorder, a vegan, eco-friendly confectionery is raising funds in order to expand its services. Founder Melodi Donahue has taken to online funding platform Indiegogo to seek support from customers. Donahue wants to acquire more kitchen equipment in the hopes of being able to expand on her current offerings, as well as increasing the number of caramels she’s able to produce. OCD’s sweets have quickly become favorites among foodies because of Donahue’s dedication to quality—she uses only fair-trade, vegan ingredients—and creative flavors, including salted lime caramel bars and WTFudge, a vegan fudge with crisp rice and potato chips. Supporters have until August 17 to donate.
