MFA Calls Out Walmart With Newspaper Ad
The animal-advocate group pleas for pigs via print, taking out a full-page advertisement.
February 21, 2013
As major food industry players such as McDonald’s and Oscar Mayer rid their supply chains of gestation crates, animal-welfare groups set their sights on Walmart, the nation’s largest purveyor of pork, encouraging the company to source from farms that do not use gestation crates.
