Memphis, TN’s Plant-Based Food Festival is kicking off its second year on June 21. The festival is focused on educating the community on the health benefits of eating plant-based, and will feature activities such as food sampling, workshops, live music, and eco-friendly product demonstrations in addition to a 5k walk and run. The celebration will take course over three days in Overton Park from June 21 to June 23. Speakers include Memphis raw food pioneer Balewa Bayete, vegan food activist Katherine Larsha, and vegan chef Timothy Moore.
