Cruelty-free candy company Premium Chocolatiers has taken to Kickstarter to raise funds to create vegan versions of the ever-popular M&Ms. Instead of containing a hard chocolate or peanut center, Premium’s rendition—called No Nos—will have a marshmallow in the middle. The funds will go toward buying essential equipment, as the company does not want to outsource their work due to possible cross-contamination. Donors who pledge $39 or more will receive 10 bags of No Nos while pledges of $99 or more will receive a menagerie of gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free sweet treats, including 15 assorted candy bars, five bags of “Peanot Butter Cups,” and two bags of Milkless and Semisweet Pretzels. The online campaign is scheduled to end on September 10.
