Located in West Hollywood, Vromage sells artisan, dairy-free cheese (everything from Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, and, yes, Brie) made from cashews, almonds, pistachios, macadamia nuts, and Brazil nuts. Handcrafted by owner and head cheese maker, Youssef Fakhouri, Vromage follows the footsteps of the country’s first all-vegan cheese shop, Dr.-Cow Tree Nut Cheese, located in Brooklyn, NY. Miyoko’s Creamery, another dairy-free-cheese store, is scheduled to open in Fairfax, CA next year.
