Vegan bakery Cinnaholic announced Friday that it has signed franchise agreements to open new locations in Arizona, Colorado, and San Diego, CA. According to food industry website Fast Casual, the deal will see nine bakeries open across the country (three in Arizona, three in Colorado, and three in San Diego), while co-owner Florian Radke told VegNews that two more are moving forward. “There are multiple agreements in the works,” Radke said. “… We haven’t announced this yet, but the next ones that are coming are Atlanta and Las Vegas.” Cinnaholic—an all-vegan bakery that sells cinnamon rolls topped with frosting flavors such as root beer, caramel, chocolate, key lime, and mango—gained national attention after appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2014. They currently have two locations.
