Just Mayo Makers Reveal Massive New Product Line

Vegan company Hampton Creek—known for its Just Mayo and Just Cookie Dough products—has revealed it will introduce new items such as Just Scramble, Just Oysters, Just Bleu Cheese, and an innovative kids’ snack that turns into characters such as Darth Vader and Batman. According to media outlet Bloomberg.com, the company is working on a vegan egg-based snack that converts into a superhero or toy car upon heating in the microwave. Hampton Creek, which is currently raising $200 million in venture capital at a $1.1 billion valuation, is rapidly “disrupting” the corporate food world by attracting funding from high-profile investors such as billionaires Bill Gates and Li Ka-Shing, successfully navigating a national controversy with the American Egg Board over its eggless mayonnaise, partnering with food-service giant Compass Group to distribute its vegan products to corporate cafeterias and universities nationwide, and landing an exclusive deal with 7-Eleven stores to use vegan mayo instead of egg mayonnaise in all of its sandwiches. CEO Josh Tetrick recently announced that Hampton Creek’s vegan egg Just Scramble, along with a massive 500 product roll-out, will be hitting major retailers such as Target and Walmart in the next five years.
