Vegan restaurant Plant Matter Kitchen is now open in London, ON, and is celebrating its grand opening next week with daily meal specials to be announced on its Facebook page. The eatery brings local plant-based business together to serve Londoners the best vegan fare Southwestern Ontario has to offer. “We work with local companies in partnerships that help grow and promote local crafted food and drink that is organic, plant-based, and delicious,” restaurant founder Glenn Whitehead said. Plant Matter Kitchen partners with Common Grounds Farm to serve freshly picked produce for meals such as macaroni and cheese, rosemary-infused corn on the cob, curry wraps, and dairy-free Nutz for Cheese. Patrons can also enjoy beverage pairings that include beers by artisanal brewers Anderson Ales, handcrafted Booch Kombucha, and special blend coffee by Patrick’s Beans.
