Forbes Names Chloe Coscarelli “30 Under 30”

Media outlet Forbes released its annual 30 Under 30 List of influential young entrepreneurs. Vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli was included on the prestigious list for the success of her all-vegan restaurant chain by CHLOE. Coscarelli and business partner Samantha Wasser launched the now popular flagship location of by CHLOE in New York’s West Village in 2014, followed by an attached Sweets by CHLOE vegan bakery in 2016, two other New York locations, a Los Angeles outlet at a 365 by Whole Foods concept store, and the two plan to open future locations in Boston and Brooklyn. The 29-year-old got her start in the culinary world as a cookbook author, and was the first vegan winner of Food Network’s food competition show “Cupcake Wars.” Last year, Zagat named Coscarelli to their version of the 30 under 30 list, recognizing her as a food entrepreneur who is redefining the industry. In 2016, Coscarelli also received the VegNews Veggie Award for Person of the Year.
