Vegan restaurant by CHLOE’s Brooklyn outpost opens today in Williamsburg. “Brooklyn has become one of the city’s top dining destinations,” by CHLOE co-founder Samantha Wasser says, adding, “Williamsburg is filled with incredible art, culture, and restaurants, so we are thrilled to become a part of it, and are excited to meet our neighbors.” The 48-seater restaurant will serve a similar menu to that of its other locations, with a few twists. The new eatery will offer The ‘Burg BLT—an exclusive off-menu item designed with Brooklyn in mind—featuring mushroom bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and chipotle aioli on seven grain toast. March specials include Mushroom Avocado Toast, Cashew Cream of Broccoli Soup, Toasted Cauliflower Chimichurri, and a new Chill by CHLOE ice cream flavor—Ube S’Mores—that comes loaded with chocolate-covered graham crackers and toasted marshmallows. The flagship by CHLOE location opened in Manhattan’s West Village in 2015 and has since grown into a fast-casual chain with eateries across New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and several upcoming locations including one slated for a summer debut in Providence, RI.
