Talenti Launches Fudgy Vegan Flavor

Ice cream company Talenti launched vegan flavor Peanut Butter Sorbetto last month. The rich flavor, which features generous swirls of chocolate fudge, is completely dairy-free and solely relies on its 30-percent peanut butter content—as opposed to a non-dairy milk—for its creamy texture. “Our Peanut Butter Fudge Sorbetto is vegan,” a representative for the brand told VegNews. “As recipes may change from time to time, we always recommend that you check the ingredient list each time you purchase our products.” The new flavor—which is more like ice cream than sorbet—joins Talenti’s vegan line of sorbets which currently include Roman Raspberry Sorbetto, Alphonso Mango Sorbetto, and Chocolate Sorbetto. Several vegan ice cream options have recently been launched by Unilever—also the parent company of Talenti—including a total of seven offerings from Ben & Jerry’s and two flavors under the Breyers brand.
