Last week, Wichita, KS-based vegan eatery Kind Kravings found a $500 tip in its jar from an anonymous guest. Owners Rochelle Collins and Shea West—who routinely donate their tips to animal-rescue organizations—donated the $500 tip to local “death row” animal non-profit shelter Beauties and Beasts. “Someone really did tip us $500,” Collins said. “All of our minds were blown.” Kind Kravings operated as a trailer until upgrading to a double-decker bus imported from London—complete with an upstairs seating and event space—in March. The eatery serves breakfast and lunch dishes such as Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, a tofu-based Quiche Supreme, and a Grilled P.L.T. (with smoky portobello mushrooms taking the place of bacon), along with smoothies, drinks, and a daily dessert option. The mysterious donor has not yet come forward.
