Iconic plant-milk brand Pacific Foods announced this week the introduction of its new cashew-based milk line. The brand—known for its shelf-stable soy, hemp, almond, and other dairy-free milk products—will now offer Cashew Non-Dairy milk in four flavors, including Original, Original Unsweetened, Vanilla, and Vanilla Unsweetened. Pacific Foods sources its cashews from ecologically and socially responsible suppliers that follow rigorous environmental and economic standards. “Our fans are careful about what they buy and the impact it has on personal and planetary health,” Pacific Foods assistant brand manager Kari Davis said. “As a manufacturer, we’re always aiming to provide great tasting, nourishing products made with organic and ethically sourced ingredients that consumers can believe in.” Cruelty-free milk options continue to grow with market demand and now include Ripple’s pea-based, Veggemo’s potato- and cassava root-based, and newcomer Canvas’ barley-based varieties.
