New delivery service Vegan Burger Kitchen launched in the Bandra area of Mumbai, India. The company offers nine different burgers (that feature patties made from lentils, seitan, black beans, sweet potatoes, and jackfruit) topped with a variety of organic produce and dairy-free sauces such as a soy milk-based and Sriracha-spiced Thousand Island dressing. Menu highlights include Smoked Black Beans, Mushrooms and Beet Burger, The Unmeat Burger made with a seitan-based patty, and the Asian-style Sweet Potato and Peanut Burger, along with two dessert offerings—Pop the Vegan Chocolate Brownie and Bounty Pudding, a chocolate bar filled with coconut. The company plans to expand the menu in the future to include more burgers and prepared meals.
