Ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s has launched a limited edition vegan menu at Soho locations of its scoop shop in London throughout the month of November. The menu features The Very Vegan Shake made with vegan brownies, dairy-free whipped cream, and chocolate sauce; The Cookie Cookie Sundae made with maple and chocolate chip cookies, Peanut Butter and Cookies ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce; and the Brownie Special Sundae made with chocolate and cherry brownies, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Chunky Monkey ice cream, vegan chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. The menu also features ice cream sandwiches made with maple and chocolate chip cookies and a choice of non-dairy ice cream. “We’ve taken our Non-Dairy flavor creations and whipped them into menu items for our fans to dig into,” Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop Guru Zara Hall said. “We hope people love the magnificent vegan cookies, brownies, ice cream chunks, and swirls we’ve loaded into our delicious desserts just in time for World Vegan Month.” All of the vegan baked goods used by the scoop shop are made by Luminary Bakery, which offers skills training, paid employment, and a supportive community to disadvantaged women in London. Earlier this month, media outlet Buzzfeed partnered with Ben & Jerry’s to launch its first week-long campaign on World Vegan Day to promote the ice cream brand’s non-dairy options.
