This holiday season, vegan meat and cheese brand Field Roast Grain Meat Co. will surpass a milestone, selling 5-million pounds of its plant-based roasts since launching the products in 2003. Field Roast currently offers a one-pound Celebration Roast, a two-pound Celebration Roast with Traditional Bread Stuffing and Mushroom Gravy, and a two-pound Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute, which are available at major retailers nationwide such as Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart, and Target. Since the launch of Field Roast’s signature 1-pound Celebration Roast, the company has seen significant year-over-year sales growth of its holiday offerings. “As we approach this timely company benchmark, it is inspiring to reflect on the expedited growth of the plant-based category, and how the Field Roast brand has developed in conjunction,” Field Roast Dan Curtin said. “Given that the holiday season can be a difficult time for those seeking meat alternatives, we’re proud to be the leader and innovator in providing the plant-based options around the holiday dinner table.” This year, vegan brand Tofurky also hit a sales milestone, celebrating its 5-millionth Tofurky roast sold since it began commercially producing the roast more than two decades ago.
