Atlanta, GA-based vegan food truck The Slutty Vegan will open its first brick-and-mortar location next month. In August, owner Pinky Cole debuted the food truck with a sexy theme she considers “slutty but conservative.” The new location will offer a dinner and late-night menu featuring plant-based burgers and sandwiches such as The Fussy Hussy (an Impossible burger topped with vegan cheese, lettuce, onion, pickle, and vegan mayo), and the Hollywood Hooker Philly (a chopped Philly cheese sandwich with grilled peppers, onions, and vegan mayo). “Sex sells, and I think healthier eating can sell as well,” Cole told media outlet AJC. “I want to meet people where they are and get them to look at food in a different way.” The food truck will occasionally travel to other cities on a “slutty tour” to educate others on the benefits of the plant-based lifestyle through its fun vegan burgers.
