Starting in May, Vegan Wines subscribers will receive a vegan cheese from artisanal plant-based brand Miyoko’s Kitchen. Miyoko’s recently began operations at an expanded 28,000 square foot facility in Petaluma, CA to fulfill growing demand for its vegan cheese—a selection that now includes Philadelphia-style cream cheeses and pub cheeses. Frances Gonzalez launched Vegan Wines in February, a monthly subscription service that she personally curates to ensure that all of its offerings are made without animal products. Last week, Gonzalez participated in the “Women Chefs Rule: The Vegan Edition” event held at the iconic James Beard House in New York City, which featured a plant-based dinner paired with her vegan wines.
