Harry Potter Subscription Box Goes Vegan

Accio! Box, a monthly subscription box inspired by Harry Potter, recently announced its boxes would contain items that are strictly vegan and cruelty-free. This commitment was prompted by The Protego Foundation, the first fan-group founded to “empower fans to fight for animal rights through the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fandom.” The subscription box typically features products such as magical bath bombs, snacks inspired by foods from the series, and Harry Potter-themed trinkets. “Accio! has always been one of the most vegan-friendly subscription-box companies on the market with many animal-friendly products, like their vegan and cruelty-free bath bombs,” founder of The Protego Foundation Tylor Star tells VegNews. “Taking that step to making all food and drink inside the boxes be vegan as well, just seemed like a natural and easy step for them. We applaud Accio! for putting the well-being of magical creatures around the world first.” Accio! Box joins many other animal-friendly vegan subscription boxes now on the market, including Vegan Wines’ cruelty-free wine and cheese pairings subscription box that debuted earlier this year.
