Starting July 9, a vegan-friendly burger featuring Beyond Meat’s Beyond Burger patty will be available at 925 locations of fast-food chain A&W across Canada. The chain will serve the Beyond Burger with lettuce, onion, pickles, and tomatoes and the burger can be ordered completely vegan by omitting mayonnaise and ordering it on lettuce instead of a bun. This expansion is Beyond Burger’s debut in Canada and marks a milestone for the vegan patty which is now available at 10,000 points of distribution globally. “We are excited to partner with true innovators like A&W Canada in our largest restaurant launch to date,” Beyond Meat CEO Ethan Brown told VegNews. “This partnership also marks our entry into the Canadian market which we know our fans will be thrilled about as they’ve been vocal in asking for this.” Brown is aggressively expanding the distribution of the Beyond Burger—which launched in 2016 at a single Whole Foods Market location in Colorado—and it will soon be available in six continents and more than 50 countries including Australia, Mexico, Chile, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Korea, Taiwan, and South Africa, among others.

Update: A previous version of this story stated that A&W’s bun is vegan. VegNews has learned that the chain cannot confirm that the bun is vegan at all times due to inconsistencies in its supply chain.
