Vegan ice cream brand NadaMoo! will host a soft opening of its first scoop shop on June 15 in Austin—with a grand opening planned for July 15, National Ice Cream Day. The shop will feature the 13-year-old brand’s popular organic coconut milk-based flavors (along with options developed exclusively for sale in-store) which customers can order in a cup, cone, or as the base of a “Nada-Mooshake,” along with a full selection of coffee beverages, plant-based pastries, and non-dairy creamers. The brand worked with interior design firm McCray & Co. to create a unique aesthetic that features an oversized spoon as the shop’s door handle, rainbow-hued walls, and an exterior facade decorated with 3D sprinkles. “We are thrilled to finally bring our flagship scoop-shop to our hometown of Austin. We are excited to be bringing our brand to life through this physical experience,” NadaMoo! CEO Daniel Nicholson said. “This has been a dream for our company for several years, and we are excited to finally have a place where we can directly serve our customers and fans, whether they’re local or just in town for an authentically Austin experience.” The shop will also serve as the brand’s test kitchen—where ice-cream developers will work in front of a transparent window—and customers will be privy to new, seasonal flavors that are not available as pints in stores.
