The Minnesota Twins’ Target Field in Minneapolis, MN was recently crowned as the number one vegan-friendly ballpark in the United States. Animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) announced that Target Field topped its 2018 Top 10 Vegan Friendly Ballparks list. Target Field offers vegan food items such as vegan hot dogs and burgers, as well as Vegan Tofu Vindaloo by Minneapolis-based food truck Hot Indian Foods, and Sriracha brats and Italian sausages from Minneapolis-based vegan shop The Herbivorous Butcher, which debuted at the park last year. Rounding out second and third place on PETA’s list are Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX—serving Top N Go Frito Pie topped with Beyond Meat—and the Cleveland Indians’ Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH—serving vegan grilled cheese, Beyond Burgers, and vegan ice cream.
