Plant-based patty Impossible Burger is now available at select New York City locations of national chain restaurant Applebee’s. The chain announced the menu addition—its first veggie burger option—on social media this week. “The Impossible Burger is now at Applebee’s! You should be there too!” the company posted on Instagram alongside a photo of the Impossible Burger pictured with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. “We are always looking at new offerings that align with what our guests would like to enjoy in our restaurants,” an Applebee’s spokesperson told VegNews. The Impossible Burger was also quietly added in recent weeks to the menu at select The Cheesecake Factory locations in Canoga Park, CA, Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH, King of Prussia, PA, and Frisco, TX, where it is served on a non-vegan brioche bun with tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and a non-vegan special sauce—some locations can accommodate vegan buns upon request.

VegNews will update this story as we learn more information from Applebee’s.
