A 35-dish menu, with an extensive selection of plant-based items, will be offered at the celebrity-packed Governor’s Ball dinner following this year’s 70th Annual Emmy Awards on September 17 in Los Angeles. Catering company Patina Catering—founded by acclaimed chef Joachim Splichal of the Patina Restaurant Group—will create what it calls its “most impressive menu yet” for the event. “We will be serving an assortment of plant-based dishes at the Emmy Awards Governors Ball this year,” the catering company teased on Instagram, along with a photo of fish-free ceviche made with cashews. “Who wants to try this Cashew ‘Ceviche’ cup?” Vegan nominees in attendance will include Thandie Newton, Zazie Beetz, Kate Nash, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
