Vegan-friendly brand LUSH Cosmetics unveiled its anticipated all-vegan Halloween line in stores today. The collection features 12 spooky items such as lavender-scented, eyeball-shaped bath bombs, a variety of citrusy Ectoplasm items (including a “naked” shower cream that is not encased in plastic), and Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar made with plastic-free glitter. The line also includes several ghost-themed products, including the innovative glow-in-the-dark Ghost in the Dark soap made with ethically sourced cocoa butter and scented with lemongrass. In its continued efforts to end animal cruelty in the beauty industry, LUSH partnered with Humane Society International last week to help the organization campaign for the passing of the Humane Cosmetics Act (HR 2790)—national legislation which would prohibit the testing of beauty products on animals.
