Ben & Jerry’s Gives Away Free Vegan Cookie Dough Ice Cream on April 9

Today, Ben & Jerry’s announced that its 41st annual Free Cone Day will be held at participating scoop shops on April 9. The event will feature a variety of flavors that customers can snag for free, including a vegan version of classic flavor Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and vegan scoop-shop exclusive Coconut Almond Fudge Chip. Ben & Jerry’s expects to give away one million scoops on Free Cone Day, including many of the non-dairy varieties. The company first debuted its almond milk-based vegan line in four flavors in 2016 before expanding the line every year to include additional flavors. In February the company added Chocolate Caramel Cluster and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to its non-dairy line, increasing the vegan flavor options to 11 pints.
