Vegan brand Kite Hill will debut two new flavors of almond milk-based cream cheese at Whole Foods Market nationwide. The Everything flavor features a blend of sesame and poppy seeds, garlic, and onion, and will be available in April, while the Strawberry flavor will debut in August. The new cream cheese spreads join Kite Hill’s current line which consists of Plain, Chive, and Jalapeño flavors. In May, Kite Hill will further expand its product line at Whole Foods with plant-based dips in flavors French Onion and Ranch and a new flavor of its European-style, almond milk-based yogurt in Raspberry. Last year, the vegan food company closed a $40 million investment round led by 301 Inc.—the venture capital arm of food corporation General Mills—in order to substantially increase its production capacity to meet consumer demand.
