Tarte Launches All-Vegan Sister Beauty Brand Sugar Rush

Beauty brand Tarte recently debuted vegan sister brand Sugar Rush. The new makeup and skincare line is comprised of 17 products which are each priced at $25 or less and packaged in recyclable materials. The line includes dessert-scented Cake Butter Whipped Body Butter, Don’t Hate Hydrate Oil-Free Moisturizer, and cake pop-inspired liquid lipstick. The line also includes vegan makeup brushes with cactus-shaped handles and a matching cactus-printed makeup bag. While its parent brand Tarte does not test on animals, some of its products contain animal-based ingredients. Sugar Rush, however, features products formulated with natural, vegan ingredients made to appeal to Generation Zers who, according to the brand, “don’t compromise what they put on their body or what they believe in.”
