New vegan options will be available at the Globe Life Park stadium—home of the Texas Rangers—during the 2019 baseball season. This year, baseball fans will find meaty options featuring products from Beyond Meat at the Ballpark Vegan, an all-vegan concession stand near section 16. The Beyond Vegan Burger ($15) features the Beyond Burger patty topped with vegan cheese, lettuce, and tomato served with Stacy’s Pita Chips. The Vegan Street Tacos ($10 for three) are loaded with Beyond Meat’s vegan crumbles and topped with pico de gallo. In addition to options at the vegan stand, the stadium will also offer a Fresh Veggie Wrap ($10) in section 22. The Ballpark Vegan stand first opened in 2016 after Twalla Grant, who manages group Vegan Texas Ranger Fans, could not find vegan options at the stadium. Since then, the stand has served a variety of vegan food to baseball fans, including black bean burgers, vegan nachos, hot dogs, jerky, chili, wraps, salads, and fresh-cut fruit.
