On August 1, dedicated vegan grocery store Easter Greens will open its doors in Edinburgh, Scotland. The store will sell grocery items such as fruit, vegetables, and vegan meats, cheeses, snacks, and toiletries. Owner Alasdair Corbett confirmed news of the store opening on Facebook and asked for help choosing a name by voting for one of three options. Easter Greens is named after the road in Leith where the store resides. In recent years, a number of dedicated vegan supermarkets have been popping up across the United Kingdom and around the world, including Plant Based Supermarket and GreenBay in London, The Cruelty Free Shop in Australia, Vegan Space in South Korea, and Veganz in Berlin, Germany.
