Mung-bean-based egg replacer JUST Egg recently debuted at 10 select Costco locations in Southern California. Beginning next week, select locations in the Pacific Northwest will also be stocking JUST Egg. The big-box chain carries packages that contain two 12-ounce bottles of JUST’s vegan liquid egg for $9.99. Costco has added a number of new vegan products to its offerings in recent years. Earlier this year, family-owned food company Don Lee Farms announced it will be launching vegan versions of its Organic Veggie Burgers and Organic Veggie Bites at Costco this summer following the success of its vegan Organic Plant-Based Burger that “bleeds” with the help of beet juice—which sold 1 million units in less than 60 days. Additionally, select Costco locations in San Francisco and the Bay Area now stock a drinkable vegan yogurt line by Scandinavian brand Hälsa Foods which will be available at 800 more locations by the end of the year.
