Vegan actress and activist Pamela Anderson recently revealed her plans to launch a new vegan shoe line. The line will be sold in French department store chain Galeries Lafayette and will also include other vegan products such as handbags and champagne. The 51-year-old actress will work with small groups and artists for the launch. “The artists are the freedom fighters of the world,” Anderson told the Los Angeles Times. “That’s why I love to do it. If I have to do a fundraiser, I’d rather be with artists. They are more courageous when they are supporting an activist like me because I have a lot of friends who are, maybe, a little bit controversial.” In 2017, Anderson launched a line of Ugg-like boots called Pammies that were cruelty-free and made in California; however, her online shop is no longer active.
