Today, fast-casual chain QDOBA Mexican Eats added three new bowls, including a Grilled Fajita Vegan Bowl, to the menu at its more than 730 locations nationwide. The new vegan option (the price of which varies by location) includes a base of brown rice and black beans that comes topped with sautéed fajita vegetables, hand-smashed guacamole, corn salsa, pico de gallo, and salsa verde. “Our culinary team developed these bowls to adhere to dietary guidelines, while still delivering a memorable flavor experience. At QDOBA, we believe flavor should never be compromised, no matter your dietary preference,” Jill Adams, QDOBA Vice President of Marketing, said. “These new creations make it easy for QDOBA guests that are keto, vegan, or just looking to eat more protein to come in and order a tasty meal that still fits in their lifestyle.” The new menu option follows a successful launch of plant-based meat made by Impossible Foods—which is featured in the Impossible Taco and Impossible Bowl but can be ordered as a beef replacement in any entree—at QDOBA locations nationwide.
