South Africa-based vegan food brand The Fry Family Food Co. is giving away a year’s supply of its vegan chicken nuggets to one lucky meat-eater. The competition is open to all United Kingdom residents over the age of 16 and the winner will receive 12 boxes of the brand’s Meat-Free Chicken-Style Nuggets every three months. The company launched its competition after conducting a survey, the results of which revealed that 46 percent of meat-eaters have attempted to follow a vegetarian or vegan diet at some point in their lives and one fifth of them would like to try it again.
“It’s great to see that so many people are willing to try out a plant-based diet. It’s never been easier to introduce meat-free options into your diet; however, it’s important to realize that you don’t need to make a complete change to your lifestyle overnight,” Tammy Fry, International Marketing Director for Fry’s, said. “We know that sometimes people need a helping hand to make a change in their diet. Our nuggets are great for snacking and enjoyed by kids and adults alike, so make sure you share.”
Interested applicants must submit a 100-word statement about why they should win Fry’s giveaway before November 4.
