Vegan restaurant company Planta Restaurants recently introduced meal kits that can be shipped across the United States and Canada. Restaurateur Steven Salm and Executive Chef and Partner David Lee hand-picked Planta favorites for the “Planta at Home” meals, which are shipped frozen and include burgers, pizzas, cauliflower tots, gyoza, cookies, and cheesecake. The pizzas are available in four, six, or eight packs in styles such as Margherita, Godfather, Frenchie, Shroomami, Hawaiian, or Bianca. The burger kit includes six or eight burgers with patties, buns, queso, mayo, and dill pickles. Each dish comes with step-by-step preparation instructions. Planta is also shipping pantry staples of its popular condiments such as chili oil and Truffle Almond Parm.

“The introduction of Planta at Home was inspired by and made for our guests across North America. We get a lot of requests from people across Canada and the US to open in their city, so we decided to bring Planta to them wherever they are,” Salm told VegNews. “Planta at Home also serves as a solution that many individuals and families struggle with … delicious and gourmet plant-based dining in the comfort of their home. We recognize that dining at home more frequently is part of our life for the foreseeable future and are thrilled that our guests are as excited as we are to have Planta delivered in just a few clicks.”

Planta currently has locations in Toronto and Miami, with forthcoming locations opening in New York City and West Palm Beach. In the coming months, the company also plans to implement a meal subscription service.
