Toronto, ON-based vegan sommeliers The Social Herbivore have launched a Red, White & Green Holiday Gift Bundle. The bundle features a hand-picked selection of local vegan wine and snacks, including bottles of red and white wines from Leaning Post Wines, a cranberry/rosemary vegan Havarti cheese and lox-style cream cheese from Wandering Deli, and vegan salami, mushroom and walnut pate, carrot lox, and mulled wine chutney from Sausage Party Toronto. The selection comes in a reusable ice bucket and is gift-wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. Plus, $5 from every purchase will go to support the Toronto Vegetarian Food Bank. 

Founders Priya Rao and Jen Huether—Canada’s first female master sommelier—launched The Social Herbivore with the mission of demonstrating that the vegan lifestyle can be fun. “Priya and I met when I co-hosted a dinner at Planta featuring vegan food paired with wines just over two years ago,” Huether told VegNews. “We saw a gap in the wine world when it came to plant-based food and launched The Social Herbivore with the goal of showcasing that you can experience fabulous, FOMO-free vegan meals and elevate them with perfectly matched wines. Our Red, White & Green bundle is exactly that—a selection of hand-picked delicacies and wine.”

The gift bundle is available for purchase online with delivery or pickup in Toronto. The deadline to order is December 14.
