Vegan brand Coconut Bliss recently unveiled The Bliss Maker, a countertop machine that allows customers to make vegan soft serve at home. The Bliss Maker is available in black and white color options ($109.95 each) and creates vegan soft serve in 30 minutes with minimal cleanup. Coconut Bliss now also offers organic coconut milk-based soft serve mixes in Dark Chocolate and Madagascan Vanilla flavors available in 32-ounce pouches ($29.95 for a pack of two) that make three pints of soft serve each. “This past year has been a challenge for all of us,” Moshe Shalchon, Chief Operating Officer at Coconut Bliss, told VegNews. “People spend most of their time at home so we wanted to bring a special experience to make their lives a bit more sweet, a fun and easy family activity with a blissful result.”

For further ease, customers can also purchase a bundle ($119.85) that includes The Bliss Maker, two packs of soft serve mixes, a virtual recipe book, and an accessory kit (which contains an ice cream scoop, two ice cream spoons, and an ice cream container). The Bliss Maker is now available for presale and will begin shipping in early January.

Ice cream at home
Other brands are also making it easier for ice cream-lovers to enjoy frozen treats at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. In September, Elmhurst 1925—a former dairy company turned vegan—launched its own oat milk-based soft serve mix in chocolate and vanilla flavors which can be made into soft serve using any ice cream maker.
