Today, vegan brand Coconut Bliss launched its new Everyday Bliss line, a more affordable organic ice cream line—its first new product launch since its debut in 2005. The new coconut milk-based line features four new flavors: Caramel Macchiato, Salty Peanut Butter Chip, Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla Brownie Swirl. The Everyday Bliss line is offered at a suggested retail price (SRP) of $5.49 per pint, compared to a SRP of $6.99 per pint of its Coconut Bliss line. “We want to make the best ice cream for everyone, this just happens to be plant-based,” Coconut Bliss CEO and President Kim Gibson Clark said. “Everyday Bliss was carefully created at a price point and with flavor profiles fitting for the needs of the larger population, and is a solution to everyday dietary needs and restrictions. Fans will be happy to know that our new Everyday Bliss line boasts the same level of indulgence, taste, and quality standards Coconut Bliss is already known for.” Clark explained that the new line will allow Coconut Bliss to experiment with new vegan ice cream bases outside of coconut milk. “We’re excited to begin this new chapter as a company in the fast-growing plant-based dessert sector,” Clark said. As the plant-based industry continues to grow, several companies have begun reducing the cost of their core products, including startup JUST which aims to slash the price of its mung bean-based vegan JUST Egg by 35 percent this May.
