This week, international coffee chain Starbucks launched the limited-time Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino at its United Kingdom locations. The new beverage is made with dairy milk, peanut-butter flavored sauce (made from sunflower seeds), chocolate chips (which are accidentally vegan), and is topped with whipped cream. Omitting the whipped cream and swapping dairy milk for a vegan alternative such as almond, soy, and oat milk makes the Peanut Butter Cup Frappuccino fully vegan, according to Nathan—a Starbucks barista who operates Instagram account @veegboi. “I personally love it, it’s a sweet and nutty drink—you can even add mocha chocolate sauce to make it extra chocolatey,” the barista said.

Starbucks also offers a number of frappuccinos in the United States that can be easily veganized with the help of our 10 (Mouthwatering) Vegan Frappuccinos at Starbucks guide.
