On August 19, California-based vegan fast-casual chain Veggie Grill will launch a corned beef sandwich at all of its 36 locations. The new menu item is made with vegan corned beef from Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli, special sauce, Cleveland Kitchen whiskey dill sauerkraut, and vegan provolone cheese on griddled rye bread and will be available for $10.95.

“We’re so delighted to be partnering with Veggie Grill, true trendsetters in the world of food,” Unreal Deli owner Jenny Goldfarb told VegNews. “This national expansion means that folks can find us in many more locations and enjoy this super tasty sammy.”

Last year, Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli received funding from Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban after appearing on the show. Since then, the company has expanded its popular corned beef to 58 Whole Foods Markets in the Southern Pacific Region; select locations of Quiznos in the Denver, CO area; Los Angeles and New York delis; and Netflix’s Sunset Bronson Studio Lot in Los Angeles. The Veggie Grill launch means that Unreal Deli will now be available in cities its vegan meat has never before been available: Boston, Portland, and Seattle.
