United Kingdom-based vegan meal subscription service Vibrant Vegan is seeking a meat-loving Brit to become a Vegan Curious Coordinator for three months. The chosen applicant will receive a salary of £50,000 (approximately $68,000) for the time period in addition to unlimited vegan meals provided by Vibrant Vegan. During the three-month period, the chosen applicant will be contractually obligated to eschew all animal-derived foods, test new products from a “carnivore” perspective, and share their plant-based journey with other meat eaters on social media. At the end of the three-month period, the Vegan Curious Coordinator will receive a contract wherein they can pledge to go vegan for the remainder of 2021 in exchange for a lifetime supply of meals from Vibrant Vegan—the value of which is approximately £100,000 ($135,00).

“There was a time when being vegan was an all or nothing lifestyle choice; and vegan food options were considered lesser than their meat-based counterparts,” Vibrant Vegan Founder Iain Burke-Hamilton said. “As we head into the New Year, we at Vibrant Vegan want to demonstrate not only the health and environmental benefits of being vegan that we hear so much about, but also highlight that vegan food can, and should, be enjoyed by everyone—even the UK’s biggest meat lover.”

How to apply
All applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 65 and consume meat on a regular basis. The winning applicant will be chosen on January 25 and must commit to going vegan starting February 1. “We’re incredibly excited to hire our first Vegan Curious Coordinator and to watch them share their journey with people that love good food and are interested in a vegan lifestyle but perhaps feel it’s too much of a commitment or simply aren’t sure where to start,” Burke-Hamilton said. “Everyone has their own reasons for choosing veganism; we want to show it doesn’t have to be all or nothing, and you don’t have to sacrifice good food for the cause.”
