Pizza Chain Donatos Launches Vegan Wings at Nearly 200 Locations

Pizza chain Donatos Pizza recently launched vegan cauliflower wings at all of its nearly 200 locations in 10 states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia). The new menu item features breaded cauliflower florets that are oven-roasted and served with a choice of four different dry rubs and three sauces (the BBQ sauce, sweet Thai chili sauce, hot chicken dry rub, roasted garlic dry rub, and wood-fired chipotle dry rub are vegan). Donatos says it is the first national pizza chain to offer cauliflower wings.

“We are thrilled about the addition of cauliflower wings to our menu,” Donatos CEO Tom Krouse said. “Plant-based foods are more in-demand now than ever, and our menu innovation team continues to develop great products to meet our customers’ needs.”

In addition to the new cauliflower wings, Donatos offers a vegan and gluten-free pizza crust and plant-based sausage as a topping option.
