On March 11, veggie rice brand RightRice will debut at Whole Foods Markets nationwide. The brand’s line will include vegan flavors such as Creamy Parmesan, Wild Mushroom, Basil Pesto, and Creamy Cracked Pepper. The risotto is made with lentils, chickpeas, and green peas, and its standout Creamy Parmesan flavor includes garlic, onion, lactic acid, and lemon juice. Unlike traditional risotto, this product can be cooked in just 12 minutes. Each 6-ounce pouch retails for $3.99.

“As consumers are looking to incorporate more plant-based products into their diets without sacrificing taste or flavor, RightRice Risotto continues our focus on reimagining the rice aisle and redefining classic rice dishes,” RightRice founder and CEO Keith Belling said. “We are thrilled to be partnering with Whole Foods Market for the launch of this first-of-its-kind product.”

RightRice launched in 2019 and is available in other retailers such as Kroger, Sprouts, and Wegmans, and in a growing number of fast-casual restaurants and meal delivery services.
