After the recent launch of its second location in Frankfurt, Veganz opened the doors to its third all-vegan grocery store this week in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district. Germany’s capital is home to the 100-percent GMO-free and plant-based chain, which first opened in the city’s counter-culture district Prenzlauer Berg in 2011. Along with the usual fresh organic produce, Veganz sells ready-made pizza, baby food, mock meat, dairy-free cheeses, and beauty products. The chain announced plans to open more locations in the future, starting with Hamburg and Leipzig.
