Animal Advocacy Conference Scheduled for October

Next month, farm animal advocacy conference Their Lives Our Voices, will be hosted at the University of Minnesota Minneapolis, where the Twin Cities Veg Fest will be happening a day prior. At the conference, an array of leading experts such as Christine Coughlin of the Minnesota Voters for Animal Protection, Nick Cooney of the Humane League, and Nathan Runkle of Mercy Animals, will give presentations. Attendees will also be able to learn advocacy techniques at various workshops that include The Need for Humane Education in Our Movement, How to Plan Fun and Engaging Events, and The Psychology of Social Change: What Really Works For Inspiring People To Go Vegetarian. There will be a vegan lunch complementary with the $20 registration fee as well.
