This Sunday, Compassion Over Killing will host a book fair at Los Angeles’ Animal Advocacy Museum where renowned vegan authors will do 20-minute presentations on their books followed by short question-and-answer sessions with readers. Some of the presenting authors include Dave Simon (Meatonomics), Matt Frazier (No Meat Athlete), Hope Bohanec (The Ultimate Betrayal: Is There Happy Meat?), and Carolyn Scott-Hamilton (The Healthy Voyager’s Global Kitchen Cookbook), among others. After the fair, the nearby restaurant Green Earth Vegan Cuisine will host a benefit dinner where 15 percent of the sales will be donated to COK farm-animal campaigns when diners mention the organization to their servers.
