Ellen Opening Vegan Restaurant

Diners in Studio City, CA can look forward to the opening of a new vegan restaurant from some of the cruelty-free lifestyle’s biggest heavy hitters. Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Chrissie Hynde, and Hollywood producer and philanthropist Steve Bing have partnered with Chefs Tal Ronnen and Scot Jones (former executive chef of Hynde’s recently closed Ohio restaurant, VegiTerranean) to open the currently unnamed venture. Says Ronnen, ”It goes without saying how amazing it is to to have Chrissie, Ellen, Portia, and Steve involved. I’m excited to be working with Chef Scot Jones on the project. It will be great to work with him again on a spot closer to home.” The opening date has not yet been set.
