In recent years, the planet has given the world population the mother of all middle fingers, and it’s not coming down anytime soon. The concentration of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere reached a record high in 2007, and gas emissions continue to increase. In the last 25 years, carbon-dioxide levels in the atmosphere have increased 37 percent, fueling global warming, violent weather events, and dwindling ecosystems.
