Paul McCartney Song Used for Vegetarian Food Ad

Paul McCartney’s song “Heart of the Country” will be used in a LoveLinda Campaign ad; the ad is for his late wife’s line of vegetarian food.

British musician and longtime vegetarian Paul McCartney rerecorded a different version of his 1971 song “Heart of the Country” to be played in a commercial advertising his late wife Linda McCartney’s vegetarian food line. The ad will air on British television during the month of January and will be the first commercial aired for the line in 15 years. Along with McCartney’s music, the ad will feature the voice of another famous vegetarian, Elvis Costello. Linda founded the frozen vegetarian food line in 1991; in 2006, it was bought by an American organic food company.
