According to a new study by Purdue University, animal welfare is a major concern for those who have chosen to lower their consumption of pork. Other findings of the study included that most people claim to not have a reliable source of information about animal welfare, but those who did report having a go-to source named The Humane Society of the United States and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals as the top two groups.
